Brown College, UVA
Ever since I left for college, I’ve come to appreciate Charlottesville more and more…the Lawn, Bodo’s, downtown, old friends. I was home this past week with my boyfriend Josh. Everything is just about the same, in a good way, back at home, except for a few new stores, like the Urban Outfitters that just opened at the former old Hardware Store. I took Josh to Timberlake’s Drugstore, which is now the oldest shop on the downtown mall (open since the late 1800s), with an old-fashioned lunch counter in the back of the store (think pork BBQ, grilled cheese, shakes and malts). I hope it never closes.

We also took the requisite walks along the Corner and around the UVA lawn, where graduation had just taken place a few days earlier.
